Over the years, “S. H. E. Society” a non-profit, non-political, voluntary service organization registered since year 1995-96, under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, has excelled by leaps and bounds under the dynamic leadership of chairperson Mrs. Jeevan Jyot Kaur. The organization has been working for the welfare of poor and disadvantaged people of the community particularly the rural section of society through various developmental programs and projects, with the objective to develop sustainable and self-reliant community. Since its inception, it has been working in the field of literacy and education, health, slum-rehabilitation, vocational education, women empowerment, environment and many other social welfare programs.
The organization is working consistently and presently to create a drug free society. We strive to make the youth of India in general and of Punjab in particular, bodily healthy, mentally conscious, and socially productive and educate them to preserve the rich social and culture heritage and secular traditions of India.

Objective - The primary objective of our SANSTHA is to improve the quality of lakhs of people, primarily those who are marginalized, underestimated and underprivileged. It would only be possible by making the people employable through education and appropriate vocational training. This is indeed a colossal task. These people need to be given the appropriate opportunities and they need to be motivated and that is where the NGO sector can play an effective role because we work at grassroots level. NGO's, the Government, and the civil society, need to work closely to create a holistically sustainable society.
